It was cold, it was a dark november morning
with a warning in the air
in the woods and me in despair
There was a path, old and narrow, I was curious to follow
for it seemed to lead me out of nowhere
Though thrilled to find a way, I began to stray
getting deeper and deeper away
So imagine my surprise to spot a cottage in disguise
I approached with care, a glare
and the the voices hit my head
Stunned by what I'd heard and seen
I ran for where I thought I'd been
chased by what could only've been a dream
Shadows in the corners of my eyes, getting closer to my cries
And then screaming all around me, I hear voices shouting
Leave, leave, my dear
Away from the haunting, the terrifying daunting
I tripped, filled with dread
and then the voices hit my head
