To my left a mountain stands
It's been there since beginning
On my right the sea
It sounds so hard and unforgiving
Straight ahead the sun still shines
The sun that's always giving
And right behind me lies a memory dead
But oh so living
Joanne she is still living here
And nothing seems to change
Except the trees they're taller now
And never stay the same
Always growing up one way
They always seem to go
I'll tell you why they give us fruits
I really do not know oh oh
I'm quite a few years older now
But still feel young so young
Twenty five my life
Has really just begun
When I think of all the dreams
I'd love to dream as time moves on
For time it waits for no man
And there's plenty I must learn
So peaceful here so full of colour
Unspoilt by greed of man
As I stand and feel my God's own power
Sweet life lived all around
I'll tell you why they drop their leaves
And grow and die and grow
All things that live on earth must die
So on and on they go oh oh
I'll tell you why they drop their leaves
And grow and die and grow
All things that live on earth must die
So on and on they go
As finger tips cross my brain
And burn and turn unfell to learn
About the mountains
The Sea
And the world
