Dialogue 1

Mr. Smith : What time is it?
스미스 氏 : 몇 시인가요?
Mr. Kim : It's half past nine. Why?
미스터 김 : 아홉시 삼십분이요. 왜요?
Mr. Smith : I'd better go now.
스미스 氏 : 지금 가봐야겠어요.
Mr. Kim : Already? It's still early.
미스터 김 : 벌써요? 아직 이른데요.
Mr.Smith: I really have to go now. I promised to be home   by ten. Thank you for inviting me.
스미스 氏 : 정말로 지금 가봐야 해요. 열시까지 가기로 약속했거든요.  초대해 줘서 고마워요.
Mr. Kim : It's my pleasure.
미스터 김 : 오히려 제가 기쁩니다.
Mr. Smith : I had a very pleasant evening.  It was a wonderful dinner.
스미스 氏 : 매우 즐거운 저녁 시간이었어요. 저녁 잘 먹었어요.
Mr.Kim : I hope to see you again soon. I'd like to invite you  later.
미스터 김 : 곧 다시 만날 수 있기를 바랍니다. 나중에 당신을 초대하고  싶군요.
Mr. Smith : I'll look forward to it.
스미스 氏 : 그러기를 학수고대합니다.
Mr. Kim : Thank you for coming tonight.
미스터 김 : 오늘밤 와 줘서 고맙습니다.
Mr. Smith : Thank you for having me. Good night.

Peter : It's been good talking with you, but I'm afraid   I can't stay any longer.
피터 : 너와 얘기하게 되서 좋았어. 그런데 유감스럽지만 더 이상 여기있을 수가 없어.
Nancy : You mean you are leaving now? But it's only    eight o'clock.
낸시 : 지금 떠나야 한다는 말이니? 여덟시밖에 안되었는데.
Peter : I wish I could stay longer but I don't think I have time.
피터 : 더 오랫동안 있고 싶지만 시간이 없어서 말이야.
Nancy : I see.
낸시 : 알겠어.
Peter : The dinner was good. I really can't thank you enough   for your hospitality.
피터 : 저녁 식사 잘 먹었어. 식사대접 해 줘서 매우 고마워.
Nancy : Oh, the pleasure is all mine. Good-bye.
낸시 : 오히려 내가 더 기뻐. 잘 가.
Peter : Bye. Take care.
피터 : 안녕. 잘 있어.
