The other day I told a lady 'bout Jesus,
Trying to be a good witness.
She told me to my face that she didn't want to hear it
'Cuz the Church is full of hypocrites.
I paused to ponder this cruel remark,
The words she spoke against the flock of Christ,
But moments later I concluded that
What she said was sadly right.
Repent, Christian hypocrite.
Sunday morning, they come to church
Looking so religious in their best attire.
But Friday night they represent the devil
Can this spiritual facade keep them from eternal fire?
