I see you'd like to spend some time alone with me.
But, Lord, my favorite show is up next on TV.
I'm sure You wouldn't mind. It won't take too much time.
Then You can say what's on Your mind.
I realize sometimes I do procrastinate.
But, I think it's been too long since I last ate.
And there's this gorgeous girl with whom I have date.
So our chat's gonna have to wait.

Lord, You're the most important thing to me.
But, I can't talk right now. I need to get some sleep.
I want to let You know that You are still my Lord.
